SAP Backup configuration is all game of parameters and their values, views are the second things that we check now what are views say we have a big table storing a lot of data views is the zoomed in data in which we are interested .
When we talk about HANA Backup these are the parameters that help us configure and along side is the views that is used to monitor or say check up over backups.
When you need to check the backups , check these views.
View Name | Description |
M_BACKUP_CATALOGUE | List of all data backups, log backups, snapshots, and backup catalog backup. |
M_BACKUP_CATALOGUE_FILES | List of all individual backup file - What is it now ? For E.g. One Data Backup file will be associated with multiple file to store entire data backup file. |
